Anyone else notice that as you navigate the site, you'll get throwback designs?
Like the WiiWare tab and Virtual Console tab?

Its part of the April Fools celebrations.

I was wondering that too, since I'm still new I've never been here on April Fools.

Last year they switched to the new format of bringing Wii Ware World and VC reviews to Nintendo life. Maybe since its a year later they decied to switch back. As a joke of course

When I got to the Virtual Console page it was different. The Retro page is still the same, though.

I wanted them to change all of our avatars to some internet meme, like Weegee or Mudkips....
I guess they don't have that kind of time.

But I like my avatar just the way it is.

Maybe some pages changed designs and are still staying as part of NIntendoLife. I love NIntendoLife.

Anyone remember how back when it was VC-Reviews, there would be a random banner? And how one of those random banners would happen to represent the Mega Man series of games, when the art cover is really from Mega Man X's boxart (the latter of wihch is not in the Virtual Console)?

They should have changed mine into Mama Luigi.
