I agree that sending them Wii Fit would just seem too much like publicity. It is best they bought what was needed, instead of their own product.

This has nothing to do with competition what so ever. This was about providing aid to those who needed it. The companies may have done it in different ways, but this isn't the place to compare them.

haha, the same type of person who tells Iwata he thinks games are a waste of time and bought Nintendo stock because it was listed the year he was born.

Oh for lord's sakes. We just had to get childish fanboyism in here, didn't we?

Sony did a great deal anyway. I'm certain Microsoft and Apple did as well.

Or we can just appreciate what Nintendo did in isolation, and leave the fanboyism for another time. People shouldn't compare philanthropy. It's not a biggest <> contest.
