I don't even know what to say about that. Facepalms are certainly an appropriate response. I've never read Initial D, nor have I seen the anime, but I liked the movie a lot. I'm fully aware it's probably balls compared to the original material, though. The same goes for Avatar: The Last Airbender. I never saw the show, but the movie was decent. I certainly don't understand how so many people considered it one of the worst movies ever. It wasn't great, but it certainly wasn't horrible.
No offense Grenworthshero, but if you did watch the TV show you might not be saying that. The reason that The Last Airbender was considered a horrible movie was that the characters had no personalities unlike the TV show, the cut out key plot lines and they what plot lines they did keep they changed them too much. The same went for Initial D.
