Topic: Know any good Ninja movies?

I'm in the mood to see some kick ass martial arts action. None of that cheesy kiddie stuff either like Ninja Turtles. I'm talking about something serious and more realistic. An epic adventure type movie with good Vs evil and Ninjas clashing swords and stuff. I'm not sure if such a movie exists but they really should make one. It would be nice to have a series of movies come out about Ninjas that would be just as popular as Pirates of the caribbean. Then we could finally solve the debate of Pirates Vs Ninjas.

So the "3 Ninja's" movies are ruled out?

Boomerang started showing Samurai Jack again, every night at 10pm central. It has it's humor, but there is plenty of action. Genndy's best work yet.

You wanna see some kick ass martial arts watch Ong Bak. Have you also seen House of Flying daggers , Hero , Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. (i'll start with the popular ones if youv'e seen em' I'll try and suggest some more obscure titles

"Shogun" is an awesome TV mini-series from the 80s that has a few really, intense ninja battles. Ninjas aren't the primary focus of the movie, though.

Yeah I did go back and check my Zexyz thread and saw a few responses. That game is so old I wasn't sure If alot of you heard of it. I guess you have. Oh and to the previous poster who mentioned crouching tiger. That's one martial arts type movie I never got around to seeing for some reason. I might have to finally check it out. The cheesy type karate movies are still kinda fun to watch but I'm sorta burnt out on them. I must have watched the old Ninja turtle movies 300 times when I was a kid. I guess I'm in the mood for something more real and less cartoony.

Ong Bak is awesome, and there's a sequel coming soon. Not many Ninja specific movies I can think of apart from Ninja Scroll. But if you want classic martial-arts try...

Fist of Legend, Drunken Master, The Seven Samurai, Yojimbo, Shaolin Temple, Once Upon a Time in China, Five Deadly Venoms, I could go on there is loads. Just do a bit of research there of lots and lots of classic martial-art movies.

And watch Zatoichi (the new one), not action packed at all, but so beautiful!
