I would have to work at Atlus!!!! They have got to be the best third party developer ever!!!! I mean with games like Trauma Center, Contact, Cubivore: Survival of the Fittest, 3D Dot Game Heroes, etc. they are brilliant. They've never made a game that I've heard of that was just totally horrible. Even their "bad" games are still really interesting and cool!!!! lol Most of their games are just pure brilliance!!!!

Gameloft, I wouldn't have to work hard, just play good games from other companies, read about good games on Nintendo Life and port over a mobile phone game to DSi Ware.
If this was a dream scenario, I'd have to say Dejobaan. They have an amazing sense of humor and they create original games and try to break out of the idiotically placed boundaries of genres. As for a reality scenario, I'd have to say Valve. I know the basics of the Source Engine and I could actually create unique mods for some games if I actually tried.

Blizzard, the only company in which you won't be rushed for deadlines and release 'when it's done'. Sounds like a perfect stress free work place to me.

I plan to work as a Game Developer when I am older. I would have to say:Nintendo out of all the developers. Miyamoto just seems like a cool person to work with, although I do hear that he can be tiresome with the interviews i've read.

I'm quite sure that both Capcom and Atlus develops games of their own, as well as publish other developer's games. Atlus being known for Shin Megami Tensei and Trauma Center, and Capcom has made many franchises themselves. Resident Evil being one of them.

I'm already an indie game developer. But given the choice, I'd go with Valve or Blizzard, since they seem to have the best work environments. You do NOT want to work in a Japanese studio, or you can kiss your free time goodbye. Besides, the western branches of Square, Capcom, etc. mostly handle localisation, promotion and distribution.
EDIT @WaltzElf: "Game developer" (the job title) is an umbrella term for any of the major positions involved in making games. So game programmers, artists, sound technicians and designers all count as game developers. (Though you should note there isn't any real position of game designer, as you probably envision it.) Also Capcom, Atlus, Square-Enix and many other Japanese publishers have their own internal development studios. If you've played Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne or Digital Devil Saga, you'd see "Research and Development 1" when you start up the game - that's their lead internal development studio (which makes sense since SMT is Atlus' flagship series). Marvel Vs Capcom 1 & 2 were developed by Capcom themselves (which means one of their internal studios).
Fine then. I'll work for one of Atlus' development teams...but it's still going to be Atlus I'm working for!!!! lol

The role I'd see myself being able to do, given my non-existent technical skills, would be either in marketing or production. I'd be better working for a publisher than developer, in other words.
As I think about it, I'd have to say I'd work for CAPCOM.
Why? Because that industry hold some of the finest game developers that have made video games as great as we know it from Mega Man, to Resident Evil, to Devil May Cry, to Viewtiful Joe, to Okami, they've done it all!
