You sure? lol...I asked that question on that...erm, Mirosoft forums (forget what its called exactly...) and they said "realtime" antivirus programs would cause issues...like AVG.
Once upon a time I used AVG, LavaSoft Ad-aware, and ZoneAlarm Firewall. I also dabbled in Malware Bytes. They worked pretty well for me. I like Microsoft Security Essentials now and I continue to love Hijack This!. Any of those should work well for you.
