I'm not a big sissy or anything but some cartoons have actually made me a little teary. Usually the only cartoons that I ever got choked up about were Disney movies. Take Lion King for example. When Mufasa died and little Simba is sitting there all sad because his dad won't get up it gets me every time. There's even been a few early Simpsons episodes that got to me. There's one from season 2 where bart and Lisa get into a fight on thanksgiving. bart runs away from home then later Lisa starts crying cause she missed him. That one's a tear jerker.

lol, i've definitely groaned in pain (because the jokes were so lame), but i can't recall actually crying at a normal cartoon. definitely cried before at cartoon movies, though... but those are movies. it's not really the same, because they're more painstakingly planned out, the cinematics and music are higher quality than normal (music can really make or break a tearjerking scene, y'know), etc. :3

@ Irkin004 I saw that old Transformers movie when it first came out. I was about 7. Seeing My childhood hero die right in front of me really did crush my spirits. I lost interest in the toys after that. I think I was so heartbroken I gave up Transformers and started playing with Ninja Turtles instead.

When Simbas dad (whos name I cant spell correctly) died in the Lion King I dont remember if I shed a tear or not, but it did tear me on the insides. I was like only 6 or so! RIP Simbas Pops. Gone but not forgotten ;( .
edit: @ Link Geezs, I just read your first post in this thread and I got chocked up all over again. No Iie. I can tell by your post that I can never ever watch that movie again from the fear I just might loss it when that scene comes up.
Do 3D animated movies count? "When She Loved Me" from Toy Story 2 gets me every time. Poor abandoned toys...
There have been a few others over the years. Lion King is likely among them. I KNOW The Fox and the Hound was, when the lady takes the Todd out into the woods. I think the episode of Pokémon where Ash left his Charizard behind got me, too. I'm a big old softie in general, though.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
I've been sorta on a Shrek kick lately and the ending of the first and second one still gets me. The part on the first one where Fiona and shrek kiss and she's all confused because she's still an ogre Instead of being beautiful. Then Shrek tells her that she is beautiful. I'm like Awww. LOL I'm such a girl aren't I? It's still a sweet scene though.

You know nothing television or movie related animated or not has ever made me even close to crying. I know it is a show nothing more and it does not effect me on an emotional level.
Avatar: The Last Airbender made me man-tear. The episode where Aang has to abandon his love to master the avatar state, then he gets lightning bolted, and everything seems so hopeless. :C
Oh, and one after that where everything is still hopeless, and someone kidnapped Appa. That was depressing.
Does "Rise of the Mushroom Kingdom" count? Saddest thing I had ever seen!
OH MY GOD.
YES.
man, i cried my eyes out the first time i saw it... i've watched it since then, though, and i can't remember why i thought it was so sad. maybe it just caught me at the right time for some waterworks
edit: oh dang, i totally forgot about Jurassic Bark. guess i lied in my first reply to this thread... i think i'd just managed to block it out or something. waaaay too sad, but a damn good episode
