Topic: Favorite snow/ice stages in games

For me: any of the snow/ice levels in the Mario Galaxy games, plus the mountain stages in Uncharted 2 on PS3.

Definitely Snowy Mountain of Super Mario 64. I had fun cheating the penguin in the downhill slide race.... until I found out that he knew.

Here are some of my wintery favorite video game level tunes for you. 'Tis the season:

Sonic 3: Ice Cap Zone
Wonderfully themed level. Exciting snowboarding intro and penguin enemies. Winter platforming at it's best! And some of the best music in a masterpiece soundtrack.

Mario 64: Cool Cool Mountain
C'mon who's heart wasn't warmed after reuniting the penguin family? Awesome ice slide action as well. Truly a winter wonderland!

Diddy Kong Racing: Frosty Village

All of the tracks are good. But when I read "favorite snow/ice stages," THIS is the music that immediately popped into my head. How can I leave it out?

Ice Cap Zone from Sonic 3. Both music tracks alone make it the best. Sherbet Land from Mario Kart 64 is another personal favorite.

Thank you Token Girl! When I hear that final song and close my eyes all I see is a beautiful mix of white snow, colourful lights, and sharp turns. Such an awesome game! When I listen to the SM64 one all I can hear is penguins. xD

The Ice area in Paper Mario 64. That was my favorite area in the game not only because of the criminal case, but because of the music. Especially when you're in the Ice Palace.
