I would have nothing to say to back that Flying Gem + Acrobatics would be better than Aerial Ace + Life Orb.
Tho, not having your Hp sapped is nice. It's better than an item move combo when the item only works once.

And both moves are boosted by technition reguardless. Flying gem is just a one time use life orb without recoil.. actually flying gem aerial ace would be even better than flying gem acrobatics having 5 more BP.

Reguardless.. scizors prefer to just run it's STABs, knock off/pursuit, superpower, and a status move like roost, defog, or sword's dance. Even banded variations run pursuit, u-turn, bullet punch, and super power. Flying coverage is just unnessecary unless you really despise keldeo. Venasaur I suspose too but you're better off u-turning.

...Whatever dude, I rarely go against people who like to use a bunch of legendaries all the time.

I think U-turn'ing would be a sketchy choice against Venusaur. I'd rather swap out in general with Chloro and HP Fire weather it being being boosted in the sun or not on Venusaur's side.

That's true, the speed tier would not be in your favor.

But then again, if you're banded you're going to u-turn on the switchin (hopefully) rather than going 1v1 as a method of checking it.

Sleep powder can be a real thorn to the side too.. but I haven't really seen a sleep powder or hidden power venasuar for awhile actually?

I'm on the fence for that ban. In a way he is super overwhelming.. but in another he's very pressured and struggles against HO. I think he is worthy of a ban because he's kinda like mawile in away.. can deal with all it's counters, but it's not a ban I'd honestly care about the outcome.

Mega Metagross was not banned. Reason: while the vote was in favor of the ban, it did not meet the 60% supermajority needed for the ban to take place, missing it by 2.7%.

Wouldn't be surprised if it gets suspect tested again later on.

It should be retested soon enough. The strain on teambuilding is overwhelming in the current meta. Having to run 3 or so metagross checks so you don't get obliberated by the agility set isn't desirable in the slightest.

Lol. I don't go by smogon. I use what I want to use to show off my uber-tier skills. Technecally using ubers is not really a guarantee of someone getting an unfair win. I defeated a Darkrai once because they though they could knock out my Victini without using Dark Void and I was prepared with Glaciate to slow him and then swept his team of ubers tier with my Victini.

A new ladder just went up, OU (No Megas)

I don't know what they're thinking personally.. I feel like this is just going to be a ladder up for about a month than taken down. If this was a seperate tier, I actually wouldn't mind it. They said it is not a suspect test or ever going to replace the standard ladder. However they haven't commited to viability rankings or anything for the tier yet and it's litteraly just called OU no megas..

Also a new UU ladder is up... UU (No Scald) Self explainitory. I'm actually thrilled.. sad to see my poor tentacruel get crippled but thank God scald is gone.. that 30% chance to burn is rediculously uncompetitive. I mean, when you use discharge or lava plume, you are going to switch in an electric, ground, or fire type respectively with that immunity to the respective status.. scald on the other hand, it's water type so you're not bring in your burn resistant counters, your bringing in your water type resist/special walls that can get majorly crippled by the widely distributed move.

Unforunately, same case as above, it's just a seperate ladder not a suspect test or anything..
