There's still plenty of great kids games out there and hopefully they get proper recognition here unlike the KCA who constantly put the f***ing Just Dance series on a pedastal

Lets see, a Award Show targetting games kids play? So GTA and Call of Duty will be there. Unlikely to see Pokemon or Zelda, but maybe Bayonetta or something

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Mountain Dew and Doritos included? Or is that just for the hip teens and their FPSes? And will Konami get booed again?

Yes I like poking fun at these advertisements I mean game award shows. At least it's 100% guaranteed to not be as soul crushingly embarrassing as the BAFTAs.

@TheLastLugia, to be fair, Mountain Dew & Doritos haven't been associated with the show since it left Spike (and Spike's "dudebro-ification" of the event is supposedly the reason why they went independent).

Anyhow, ever since it went independent, I thought it's been surprisingly fair, and balanced in terms of what types of games win (Nintendo themselves have walked away with some big wins each year, so far).

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
