If you tell something which is not true (Uno is coming on 6 Nov.), then it's a lie. If they said 'Gameloft says that UNO comes out on 6 Nov.' then it's true.

But at the time it wasn't a lie. There's something called unforseen circumstances that the developers clearly can't control.

At the time it was undecided. They are saying something happens in the future and only when that future is past, it's either true or false. But if I say I'm gonna buy a game and I die before I was able to buy it ( just saying something ridiculous ) , I've lied.

At least EU has a defined date. We still don't. So be thankful for that.

I read that it was coming on the 6th for Europe, too, but I really want it here in the U.S.! Lately the DSiWare games have been great, but todays update... uhm... yeah... I want UNO! lol

That is factually and phillisophically incorrect.

Lying, by definition, involves intent. If you intend to do something, and are prevented from doing it against those intentions, you have not lied. You have broken a promise, perhaps, but not lied.

Damm, I'm mildy annoyed that Nintendo of Europe have changed the release date by another week. I'd planned to download it and play in on the the coach from London to Budapest. I just hope some other decent Dsi ware is taking it's place.

I know this is nothing more than a deluded fantasy but wouldn't it be great if we got Bomberman instead of this for friday's update?

Nintendo UK's web site has made November 13, 2009 the release date of the DSiWare version of UNO in the PAL regions.
