Well idk but almost all dsiware games are strategy/puzzle games, starting from all asrt style series :)

Anyways I just want to see your comments, I really like puzzle/strategy games so cool!!!

Why do you lump puzzle and strategy games together? There are very few strategy games on DSiWare. The only one I can think of is Dragon Quest Wars (which is the game I was expecting the thread to be about, and is the only reason I clicked on the thread). It has nothing in common with the puzzle games on DSiWare.

Not only this, but the thread title implies this is all about "strategy games" (no mention of puzzle games), and the first post mentions nothing but Art Style, which isn't at all a strategy series but comprised solely of puzzle games. Art Style is indeed wonderful though.

In summation: Confused.

Well yes they are not the same, but what about tower games, tower games are of-course strategy games.

I really liked Starship Defense. Some other good games with strategic elements are: Number Battle, Dragon Quest Wars and the upcoming RTS TRex Rumble looks promising too.

Yes, tower defense games are of course strategy games. They are also, of course, not at all puzzle games...

I'm a big fan of both genres. I'm just confused as to why you've lumped them together and seem to imply the terms are interchangeable.

I think that was meant to imply a "family" (or class) of strategy games on DSiWare: The DSiWare family of strategy (aka puzzle) games.

@Adam:
(a) thanks for taking me seriously when i was intending to go along with the thread derailment :3
(b) the idea of a 'DSiWare family of strategy games' wasn't really foremost on my mind when i read the topic, because as you said, DSiWare strategy games aren't quite in abundance (yet?). there's not enough for an entire 'family' of their own yet, lol.
