I'll be getting both. HeartGold on release and SoulSilver for my birthday.
HeartGold will be my main version and I'll be choosing either Cyndaquil or Chikorita.
Running on Platinum's engine, I'm excited to see the whole region of Johto and Kanto rendered in 3D.

I'll be skipping these two. I never could get into the main series. Yeah I know, a Nintendo fan who hates Pokemon. Blasphemy, ain't it?

I'll be getting both as well then using 2 ds's and still havent decided which one will be my main version but i will have all 3 starter pokemons on my main version and the other one i will restart and just use a fire starter as i normally would with my other pokemon games

I'll get both, but first HeartGold, because most people will get SoulSilver.

I'll be getting SoulSilver; as for my starter, I'm still unsure...

I already got the Japanese version of SoulSilver so I'll be getting the German version of HeartGold when it's released

I hope that they improve Chickorita in this version

I wanna get HeartGold, cuz Ho-Oh is my favorite all-time legendary pokemon. As for my starter.....probably Cyndaquil.

Lugia is the best looking out if all the legendarys.
