Topic: Questions/help on DIY!

Well dunno why but the friend code thread was ignoring me so I'm making my own thread to ask for help, lol.
1. Music sheets, well yeah I know they're everywhere, but wanted some that were for DIY specifically...
2. Pixel converter, thingy...I know there's one for Mario Kart, but the size is limited and thought there would be one for bigger images...
3. I'm terrible at creating music, can anyone help me make one for a "long" microgame...was hoping to have it similar to the one from Penny's boss stage from Smooth Moves.
4. Also would like help on making the Overworld theme music from Super Mario Bros..

1. See #4. There are none that are for DIY specifically, but you just need to work with them

Pixel converter, basically it takes an image and converts it into pixels to be used in some program, like the Mario kart DS emblems for instance. And how do you pull up the sheets on here? It only gives me the option of listening to them...

Don't know about the Pixel converter, but you need to download Finale Reader for the sheet music. The program is free and the site above should have a link in it somewhere...

Well what I'm hoping for is if it will tell me what instruments and beats to use and where in the tracks and all that...

Instruments and range are quite limited. Some of my compositions are very limited and still sound good

...Well it doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for on the site, and I'm really not wanting to create an account on some random site just to download the program...anybody else know where I can look?
(I'm basically trying to find the Donkey Kong Arcade music, except at the beginning it plays that "du, du-du dun" thing...I don't know how to explain it cause I've never actually played the game...

OK I'm having some minor problems with the game, so I figured I'd just post them on this thread.

I just created a game where you move a little ship from side to side, then press a little button to fire a laser. However, I set the ship to loop animate, but it does not animate! I assure you I have 2 different cels in the animation, but it just doesn't animate! Then when you move the ship, it animates to the move left/move right animation that I set it to. However, the explosion effect on the ship doesn't play, either, when it gets hit by another object! Is it some kind of glitch? Please help!

Anyone?

Forgotten all about this thread...guess i'll bump it...really want to work on some games. Help me please...(and Quikman, I guess...lol)
