I've played a few more levels now, and I think this game will be quite a large one - the 200 levels or so mentioned in the press release really does mean 200 odd levels, I think. And I don't get the impression that the game is altogether easy - achieving medals in everything will be quite a challenge, I think.

Still loving the presentation - the music and the graphics are really cool. And it's closer to Puzzle Bobble meets those paddle games meets Art Style than anything.

I'm from the US, so I'll keep be on the lookout for this game!

I love rpgs and platformers the most... racing games are good too!
I have a black dsi and a blue 3DS. :D

@KillTheHaterzzz: It's 42 blocks of data.

And it's awesome! It's a bit like Arkanoid instead of balls you use missiles and you don't have to bounce them back with a paddle. It's very strategic, you only get a limited amount of missiles, and every missile counts. Your objective is to destroy every enemy block in a stage. Hit more than 2 enemy blocks with one round of missile(s) and you get bonus points. There are also normal blocks which give points and other kinds with different behaviours. There are 3 types of missiles: reflectors, which bounces off walls and blocks. Drillers, which can drill through 7 blocks before vapourizing. And there's one which just explodes, taking all the blocks in the vicinity with it. AFAIK there is only a Stage Select mode (although there are about 200 stages) and a Quick Play mode. No online functionality. It also has great retro visuals and music.

I hope this explanation will be useful, and correct me if i'm wrong about anything. But trust me, this is a really cool game.

Yes, this game is very good! I compared it to Peggle, but you're right, it's a bit Arkanoid and Puzzle Bobble (the Galaxy or Japanese version) as well. This is definitly a great game, I like it much more than Mighty Flip Chams now which I got as well today.

I'll join this dsiware game's love in too, heh heh. Great game. I'm a fan of puzzle bobble so I was quite taken by this game when I played it/or rather as I've been playing it. It has arkanoid style blocks, but is heavily inspired by puzzle bobble. Some may find it a superior game to PB anyway?

I've got around 60 medals, and 90 stars from a solid weekend of playing - This game is huge for its cost.

Still very impressed, and very addicted. The level designs are good - and doable while still being very challenging. Love the visuals, love the music, brilliant game.

So which Pixel Junk game is better? This or Intersect/Digidrive?
