I just bought Final fantasy IV for DS and there was no instruction manual. Does anyone know where I can find a scan of it? I've already tried replacementdocs and they don't have it.

I still can't find one so I guess I'll just have to make do with the instructions at the start of an FAQ on gamefaqs.

Can't you take it back where you got it from and ask for a Manual?

It was pre-owned so they probably wouldn't have a manual but I guess I could try asking.

Generally manuals are hard to find online - sometimes replacementdocs.com might have scans, but I don't know a central database apart from that.

I can try and piece together what I can recall from memory, see if that helps.

HEALTH and SAFETY

CONTROLS
Use the Directional Pad (D-Pad) to move around the map and menu screens.

Active Time Battle or ATB is/was a revolutionary way to do away with turn based combat sort of.
Hold down the A button to auto attack.

Kain - Fun-loving dragoon.
Rydia - Excellent swimmer cursed with green hair.

Rosa - Cecil's main squeeze.
Yang - Forgettable monk warrior guy.
Palom and Porom - Annoying x2.
Edge - Death wish ninja.
FuSoYa - Old man with a big secret... in his beard.

Square used to be cool and provide manual PDFs on their site, until they merged with Enix (late PS1/early PS2).
And now this...
Why even bother putting that on their site?

I've started but I haven't got that far. I walked over to the top of a waterfall in a town that bought me to a river in the town and I can't get out. Can anyone help with this?

I'm guessing you can't just walk back up the waterfall like the earlier versions?
