Hi everyone, I have 900 points left on my DSi, and was wondering if Art Academy is worth getting. It sounded very interesting, and fun to me. I like art, and want to get better, but am wondering if this is a good choice. Thanks for your help.

Yes! I love this game... Only get this if you truly enjoy painting or drawing though.. if you don't, you might not like it. There is also a "free paint" mode so that is a great plus. I think its DEF worth it. I gave it 8/10 stars. The review on this site of it is pretty spot on... Trust that and get it!

It MAY be worth waiting until Second Semester but then you would be missing out on the basic lessons as well as the tutorials. Second Semester is probably going to begin with the assumption that you know how to properly crosshatch or block in a shape etc. If you think you know enough about art that you can skip these lessons, then wait.
Is it an app or a game? I'm just asking this because of how my menu is organised
Well, heres how I put it. Its probably the most useful thing on the DSi yet. It teaches you how to be a better artist, and other stuff. The other cool thing is that you can send your artwork to your album (camera). I would think it is an app.
