Topic: Future redesigns?

I've seen another Mario Amiibo that is standing straight up and smiling, which I believe was the Mario Party Amiibo version and it got me thinking, is it possible to have second versions of these amiibos in the future, I know almost no one is a fan of the strange color stands, but with a redesign they could focus on making the figure look better without having to try and exactly match a previous looking artwork. I wish that the Amiibo had tried their own design instead of trying to mimic the trophies in Smash, I think they would have come out a little better and more unique. Its just food for thought for now, but I'm going to assume there will be 2 future Link Amiibos not relating to Smash, one for Zelda U and one for Majora's Mask.

Oh I sure as heck hope there will be a new Link amiibo, because there is no way I'm buying the current one. The SSB Mario on the other hand, looks a lot cooler than the Mario Party one. Hopefully we'll get a new line of a couple figures for each new major game, but hopefully not TOO many new figures. I think 4 or 5 new figures for each new game would be ideal.

I'd like to see a Metroid Prime inspired Samus as well.

The ugly looking stand is the only thing holding me back from buying the link amiibo. I hope he's redesigned. The Mario amiibo is currently the only one I own and I'm not really interested in buying multiple versions of the same character. I'm buying them to have them on display rather then for their in game uses.

Welp turns out the redesign I saw was the Mario Party 10 way back then. So if there is going to be a SMB set then I guess there will be a Zelda and Fire Emblem set as well. Definitely Zelda.
