Topic: "Orginal" or "Special" mode in Game Gear games.

What are the differences between these two modes? The manual doesn't explain much.

You mean Game Boy games?
It's either color, or the Game Boy itself actually being displayed onscreen.
For color, you can either choose black and white (more soothing on the eyes) or the Game Boy's original green and... light green. It can be switched back and forth by holding L+R and pressing Y.
For the Game Boy onscreen, you hold SELECT when booting up the game.

@Jumbif: He means Game Gear I think. It has original and special performance modes. I'm wondering the same thing the OP is as well.
