Hello! I'm thinking of getting a new nintendo 3ds but I can't find one at a reasonable price! They all cost 250$-300$. I've been checking ebay and other selling websites but still can't find one for a good price!

Thanks in advance for help!

Where could you find a NEW one at all?

Personally, i would like a NEW New Nintendo 3DS XL. I own a new regular Nintendo 3DS which is new.

(Well, it was new until i started using it recently. But i did not buy a used/pre owned one.)

@Potato-man Unfortunately, I don't think reasonable prices have existed since 2019 or early 2020. I think they stopped making New 3ds xl around 2018? And stopped making the new 2ds xl in 2019 or 2020? I think my brother ended up paying $250 in 2021 for a new black & blue new 2ds xl (the least desirable color).

The pandemic had a huge impact on driving demand & prices up for out-of-production consoles & games. I haven't paid much attention in the past year, but I'm not aware of prices coming back down.

In my country you can find them for around 100-150$ but that is due to the low demand here and that our currency is 1 $ = 1.79 leva

@Potato-man Yeah but you have to keep in mind that our living standard is lower than in some other countries so for us the cost is like the one for you in your country

Almost everything outside of my country is like double in price for me

Try looking at local pawn shops, garage sales, and other stuff like that. It's not the best way to look for a New 3DS, but you're cutting out the shipping and other costs when you shop online. Prices can vary depending on who you're buying from, inflation, usage, etc.

Hope this helps!

@ChaoticMagolor I'll probably try looking at pawn shops because sometimes they may have a 3ds. Thank you for helping!
