I don't play them, I think they're too long and repetitive and convoluted to the point of being practically impossible. I just think it would make a really interesting creative challenge that could yield something really special, while maintaining the spirit of the games themselves. Kind of like a, remix born of condensation/integration, type thing.
That's funny that you're so insistent on using mechanics and themes from those three games and combining them into one "directors cut" monstrosity/something new, because that's more or less exactly what those games already are.
Capcom took design elements and mechanics from previous games in the series and combined them to create their games.
From the graphics, to the enemies, many of the characters, even story elements and gameplay... It's all mostly mixed and matched from older games.

Yeah ... if that's how you feel, i'm pretty sure Zelda games are not for you. You're basically looking for something that is completely different and not at all like a Zelda game. You're basically sounding like "i want to play these Zelda games but i hate everything that makes them Zelda games."

I don't really agree with that...I dont' think the only thing that makes Zelda games Zelda games are that they're too long too repetitive and convoluted to the point of being practically impossible...I think there's a lot to like about them too, I'd just like to see less stretching of content and I think we're seeing that improve with each new release. I think each new modern Zelda is better than the last and I'm really looking forward to future releases in the Zelda franchise.
@SuperPaperLuigi
Zelda games convoluted? Or impossible? Are you sure we're talking about the same games? The only convoluted thing the Oracle game had was that you had to beat one first to insert the code in another and gain access to the real final boss.
The only "hard" Zelda game is the original one due to not having any clue on where you were supposed to do. All the new Zelda games are, unfortunately, easy as hell.
Both Oracle games are fine. Trying to mix them in a single game would be as trying to mix Fire Emblem Fates two paths into one single storyline (not including Revelations). They are standalone stories.
Okay, well I can see this is about to deteriorate into a flame war, so I'm out. Personally not going to ride this one to a lock but if you guys want to argue among yourselves go ahead.
