Topic: Pac-Man Party 3D

So... I saw this game during Amazon's Black Friday big sale. I never heard about it so I decided to do a little research and it seems to be a Mario Party/Monopoly hybrid-thing.
It was cheap, so I decided to buy it (it should be arriving in a few weeks).

Has any of you played it yet? If so, how's it?
Share your impressions.

Also, will NintendoLife review it? It's been out for some time already.

Its a port of last years Wii game which seemed like an extremely generic, bland and uninspired party game and unsurprisingly got some very average reviews but I've heard that the 3DS version is worse due to bad controls.

I never heard about it until a few days ago.
I found two average-rated reviews, but they didn't mention a thing about bad controls.

What were the reviews rateing?

well, one gave it a C+, which I assume is kind of a 6-7 or something, saying it was "enjoyable, if not exorbitant".
Another site gave it a 1.5/5 because it gets boring after a few plays.

So yeah, it's that kind of game, but I still decided to buy it... Just because...

It also includes the original PacMan, DigDug and Galaxian arcade games and a few good minigames, So I guess it won't be that bad for someone like me.

@Morpheel One of the reviews that mentioned bad controls was Nintendo power's review who gave it something like 45/100 or 4.5/10.

From what the reviews say I think you just wasted 15 bucks but try it before you judge it plus everyone has a different opinion

Eh. I have wasted more on worse things.
Don't worry, even if it turns out to be as bad as the sims 3 3d, It won't affect me.

I'll post my own impressions as soon as I get it (as I said, I ordered it from amazon and it usually takes a few weeks).

A few weeks? Amazon deliveries normally take a few days here in the UK, sometimes only two days.

There's no Amazon in my country, so I actually buy things from the US Amazon.

The game's here! (the same day the GBA games, too, lots of new games for me today)

It's actually very fun, I see how it can get boring (a sinlge game took me over 1 hour to complete) but it was very enjoyable.
The fact that it managed to keep me interested for over 2 hours is a good signal imo.

Some minigames were, predictably, not very good, but most are very fun and they don't really start happening until late in a play session when the board is filled with castles and the battles get more common (up to four minigames in a row can get tiresome if the minigames themselves are part of the "meh" group, though).

Awkward voiceacting and blurry pics aside, the board game and the ocasional boss battles are fun.

I don't regret my purchase at all.
