I just noticed today that my notification light on my 3DS is faintly glowing green all the time. It is impossible to see in any amount of light, I only noticed it in the dark, and even then it was barely noticeable. It hasn't had any effect on anything; I successfully received both Spotpass, Streetpass and Friend notifications since I noticed it had started. But it never stops faintly glowing! I even turned the system on and off several times to see if that would reset it, but I saw it turn off and on with the system. It was the last thing to turn off, and the first thing to turn back on. It's very odd. But luckily, as I said, it doesn't seem to be causing any problems, and I don't even notice it in a room with a light on (which is where I usually play it).
Has this happened to anyone else? And what do you think is going on?
Alright, so this was even weirder:
It started doing it again for a little while the other morning. It was glowing even more faintly than it had before; but it glowed a bit more brightly whenever I pressed the R button. It stayed brighter until I let go of the R button. But still not bright enough to see in the light. Weird! I wonder if it will start again?
Is the light near the button, and are you sure this has just started? How long have you had your 3ds? (I'm on my third one) I kind of think it might be dirt or debris under the button. At least everything still works. Have you tried Nintendo support?

I've had my 3DS for almost 1 year; it'll be a year next month.
As long as everything still works, I'm not too worried. And yes, the light is directly above the button. It's just kind of odd.
