Topic: NinSkype

I guess all of you want Nintendo to make Skype for 3DS. Well, I've thought about this. ^_^
We could see & chat with our friends using the 3DS's insert camera. Also, we could chat with 1, 2, 3, or even 4 persons & we could see ourselves too! Finally, we could chat by sending instant messages but without seeing each other, of course.
Oh! And I've thought about the name too! It could be called... NinSkype!
But, as you maybe know, the 'NinSkype' isn't real...

Would be great. But I for one would like them to prioritize getting MiiVerse on the 3DS and focus their available resources to the migration of Nintendo Network between the Wii U and the 3DS offering one seamless experience. Judging by the quite meager friend list functionality (as in not even being able to send a quick message to an online person from within that interface) on the 3DS and the rather slow Swapnote, I wouldn't get my hopes up for videochat.

Not to mention Skype is owned by Microsoft. Fat chance

Well instead of Skype, Nintendo could make it, and it could be like you chat with your friends on voice chat, or even use the cameras.

As true at that might be, Microsoft hasn't exactly ruled out the use/support of Skype on other OS/platforms; PlayStation 3 has it, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, Android., heck even Apple's Apps store.

Don't we have skype-like system on wii U? Wii u chat?

Wii U has video/wii u chat. But for some people(like me) who can't afford to buy a Wii U, it would be great if Nintendo could create a software like Skype. Also, I think that Nintendo would get a great profit from that.

Skype operates independently and according to its business model prior to the acquisition.

Skype is on iPad and Vita - direct rivals to Microsoft's products. There is no business reason that it wouldn't pop up on the Wii U on Microsoft's side.

Interesting...make it happen then!!
