Man, adept is such a lifesaver for Khezu... not only does it let you easily dodge his electric field, but because you "triggered" it's single hitbox, you can actually just walk into after successfully dodging.

@meleebrawler Nice find! I'll have to play with that. I have to say, though, I'm not getting on with adept due to the run-in. It locks you on a path in a way that really doesn't vibe with me.

@Tsurii I suppose it depends on how much you favour running focus and stamina skills... but other than guild, adept's kind of the only really good style, since aerial bow is too gimmicky and striker loses a lot of offensive power without power shot. The insta-charge benefit might not seem much, but think of all the times you've had to waste a charge to dodge an attack.

Other noteworthy adept styles are the team-friendly Long Sword's Spirit Reckoning, Light Bowgun's power boost and optional run, and Charge Blade being able to guard point with charged slashes as well as charging it's shield red in sword mode with insta-guard. And for every weapon, it eliminates the need for evasion+ or guard+ skills.

...I was going to fight and record Gammoth today, but decided to wait...maybe tomorrow. Might even do Mizutsune on the same day, so yeah...

I beat Hellblade on the first try last night, one rank and 100 armor below it.

None, actually. I was with a crowd of hunting senpais, so we did well.

Fought Gammoth, he wasn't as hard...but still annoying, kept using his pin attack on me. lol

@Tsurii Haha, sorry. xD Cat's are awesome (except when it takes 20+ min. to kill a Rath, because it stays high up in the air constantly raining fireballs down on top of you -_-), and until Kiranico finally shows the weapon trees, I'm holding off on bowgunning just yet.

I'll be on again today, should have more time than normal. Can work on random stuff or HR5, I feel like I need an armor upgrade but haven't looked into what I should get. I think I can upgrade the few GS's I have now that I'm HR5 too ^^

Forgot to say, I uploaded my Gammoth video, for anyone that cares to watch...which is unlikely, but...eh, never mind. TwT

I'm down for a monster hunter spin off as long as its released in a variety of places. Also hopefully when releases in Japan, it will quickly release else where.
