Topic: DS games on 3DS XL?

Hey, im not sure if this has ever been asked before, but does the normal DS games work on 3DS XL?
Probably silly question, but ive been unsure about it since the XL has only one slot for 3DS games and im not sure if DS games fit in it.
I haven't been able to find a solid answer to it yet.

they do and having lite, dsi, 3ds and 3ds xl I only play them only on xl. ^^

Any DS game should work on any 3DS console.
