Demos are (or were) a very important part of Nintendo 3ds gaming but there hasn't been one since march, are they over just as Nintendo Show 3d?

There haven't been any demos recently because no developer has released a demo for their game. Nintendo doesn't require devs to submit demos, the cost of redesigning a game to be made into a spend can be prohibitively expensive, some games really can't be shown off through a demo ... there are numerous reasons to not release a demo. As releases pick up soon, rest assured, there will probably be several demos to accompany those games, so hopefully the wait for new demos won't be too long.

Exactly.

Yes, that^ I mean, have you seen MH3U's demo? Horrible! Doesn't give justice to the whole game at all.

I'm not sure any demo could do justice to Monster Hunter as a whole. But it does a nice job of demoing a section of the game.

It's far better than going in blind. If a demo doesn't give a good taste of what to expect in a game, that it's the developer's fault for making a bad demo.
