Topic: Can I keep pre-installed games on source System after performing a System Transfer?

Hi! I'm totally a noob and needed some help regarding this: I've got the Special Edition 3DS XL that came with the preinstalled game Mario & Luigi Dream Team. Also, I've dowloaded a couple of other games from the eShop, like Pokemon and Fire Emblem. Now, I've bought a NEW 3DS and performed a System Transfer. ALL the games, including Mario & Luigi were succesfully transfered to the target handheld, but now, the source system's preinstalled game is lost, and when I try to redownload it from the eShop it says I've to pay for it...

I only care that the source system has the Mario & Luigi copy because I wanted to sell it as a boundle just the way it came. Can this be done?

Thanks in advance for the help, and sorry if my english is not good enough.

No, it cannot be done because what you would end up with is two copies of the game. But you only paid for one copy and Nintendo will not allow that to happen.

If you didn't create a Nintendo Network ID then you'd be fine, but...

Thanks, but isn't the game assosiated to the system?? I'd thought you could just download it again from the eShop with a new user.

Thanks, but wich system do you mean? You say if I hadn't created the NNID on the source system I wouldn't have this problem now??

What they are saying is, when you made yourself a network ID you associated that game with it. Since you are only allowed one copy per purchase, having the game on your new console and still having it on the second would not be allowed.
