Topic: 3DS VS DSi(XL) VS PSP

When the 3DS is coming in 2 months,everybody are exited. Well i am in a trouble. I don't know what to do, I just got the money to buy a PSP,but i can get a DSi(xl) too,so what should i do:
A.Get a PSP because it has better graphics than ds and it has gta games
B.Get a DSi(xl) because it has a stylus and the gameplay is better than psp
C.Get a 3DS in March because it has 3D games.

Get a 3DS. I'm surprised you're even considering getting a DSi when the 3DS is so close. The 3DS can play all DS games. It also blows the PSP out of the water in terms of graphics and processing power.

If you want something now get the PSP. If you are patient wait until the 3DS comes out. I wouldn't recommend getting the DSi so close to what surely will replace it in the market. Getting a PSP is also a solid choice, but of course there will be a PSP 2 coming out at some point as well. Maybe get an Ipod Touch...

Don't look at me, the DS series also included the GTA series. But,you should buy the 3DS.

well it can only really be psp vs 3ds as dsi backwards compatability is built in.

The PSP is a good system, so I can promise you you'll get plenty of gaming out of it.

The 3DS is probably going to be a good system, but it might take a while to really get some steam going (much like the DS did.)

If you like the look of the PSP, I suggest you get that now, and save for the 3DS some 6-12 months from now.

I don't rate the PSP. In fact it is the single most overrated console out there IMHO. There are a huge amount of decent DS games in the DS library hence you could do a lot worse than a dsi xl. You can play ds software on a 3DS, so I'd go for that.

3ds could be expensive and if you get a psp 3000 you will have plenty of cheap games but support will dry up when psp2 is released.

I'd compare the DS and PSP game libraries and see which one you like more. If you decide you like the DS's more, wait until January 19th, when Nintendo should announce an official release date/price. Then you can decide if you want the 3DS at launch, or if you should wait on it a bit.

The 3DS will play all DS games, so you don't lose anything by picking it up instead. If you decide to wait, know that Nintendo has said that they will allow DSiWare to be transferred to the 3DS, so you won't lose anything if you decide to trade up later (except for maybe save files/online data). The DSiXL will most assuredly see a price drop upon 3DS launch (perhaps even Jan. 19th when it's officially announced).

I can't really speak for the PSP, but I'd try to get any games you'd like to keep forever in downloadable format. I'd imagine Sony will let you transfer downloaded games onto the PSP2/PSP Phone/Whatever is next for the PSP. However, Sony is going the way of digital distribution in the future, so there's a good chance the PSP2 won't be compatible with UMD discs.

I'm getting a PSP soon... And by soon of course I mean like, summer.

I'll be one of those who holds off on buying a 3DS, at least until a few years into it's life.

Sony are well know for supporting consoles after their lifespan i mean look at the ps2

And the PSOne - got games all the way through 2003. I'm sure the PSP will have plenty of games even after the PSP2 is introduced.

Except the PS1 was a lot more popular than the PSP

What it must have are Mature games and when it has over 5 games that are good i'm proud that i bought it.
