The best game ever (close to Ocarina of Time) and is a steal for $8. The music is memorable, the story can by linear but is interesting, the characters have their own story (but crono) and the combat system is refreshing compared with the random battle system (that annoy...). I play throug it in 1997 and have 3 hours in VC so far. Best game ever
I could not afford the SNES cartridge, now is my chance to play the original staff (even in DL). This game was my first JRPG and is the best gaming experience along with Zelda, Fzero, Mario 3, Metroid Prime in another genres. Great Music, good story even for today standarts, Good character development, multiple endings, ... and epic feeling in every corner.
For me this is better than 2 (the 2 has the impact of nostalgia in favor). The slide feature add more to the gameplay than you could think and the music is great. I´m still humming some tunes. The length is excellent and the difficult is good, the firsts levels are beateable and the last are really hard. The graphics are good for the NES
A wonderful game, a lot of strategy and adorable characters. Howser is a advisor with some big conquering plan in mind. Really 9/10 or maybe a little more...buy it if you like of strategy games or if you like light hearted games or if you like pretty graphics or of you like ... just get it.
I´ve been playing for around 4 hour and I´m having the best gaming times since the SNES era. Deserved 10!! I must confess that in some times i´m just scared when find a new room because this game surprise me every corner...also surprise myself playing with my mouth little open...as when for first time played zelda OoT...more than 10 year ago.
@7. Machu: Yes StarFox was a loud calling....but DK is very good...hoping for side scrolling, the FPS in Metroid are master pieces but the jungle of DK should be seen in other point of view according to me.
you can easily notice the effort put in this game and the action is a good mixture of investigation, upgrades and frantic shooting. I miss the good RARE titles for Nintendo... I don't know if is the nostalgia factor but the new titles of RARE for the Msoft console are not as appealing.
I was reluclant to download N64 games because I have a working n64 console an a lot of games...but a get ogre battle 64 on wii an im playing it a lot....is the same with sin and punishment??
Really good game, maybe not a 10 in my list but sure a 9 because of the atmosphere and game play...if you like rpgs and tactics..sure 9.6 rounded 10. In the cartridge of N64 is very expensive and collectible...(US50-150) but now in 10USD i can play it for sure
zelda, mario, mario in every sport, fzero, metroid, party games (with mario on it), SSBB(also mario), plataforms with yoshi, star fox, dk, ... i like this games...then i go nintendo...and also my friends, gfriend, my dad, little cousin and their parents, my sister...ages 7-10-12-17-20-26-29-40-45-50...big base
Only i thing more. When the value of movies on DVD decreced the piracy also decrese and a lot. Now the legal movies on DVD are a real market in here (from$8-$20 is OK and people is buying legal).
In Colombia is the same thing than Mexico. The piracy is strong but mainly because the taxes makes dificult buy a game legally. A game you can buy in USA in $50 we take it in $80-$90...Thats stealing people. I have 4 retail games because of that...fortunatly the wii point can be bought in fare change.
Good game. But prefer the previous ones. The desing of tracks is not that good and makes less reference to games (dk track in the n64 or Bowser castles in snes, n64 and ds). And yes..it is played with a GC controller better wich is not good for the sistem
