one thing i think should be added (even though it probably won't be) is character customisation. sure, it was hard to unlock and it got old, but it was interesting to edit the characters and make them our own. it could also make maining specific characters a bit easier. imagine you want to main your favourite character, but can't get used to the moveset. you could use custom moves and make it easier for yourself.
yes, my opinion is unpopular and it's likely not gonna happen (as it was confirmed that it wouldn't be added), but at least we got equippable items back (technically) as spirits.
