@Anti-Matter as a queer gamer living in Russia, I can answer question №2. It won't be rated anything in here.

Since Nintendo fully closed their Moscow office as a response to the war sanctions in 2023, Russian eShop has been fully erased and there hasn't been any new physical games printed for the region. There's no official import of anything Nintendo-related.

We usually order physical games from China (usually you are getting a random region version this way) or buy them from someone who bought it overseas. This includes online and offline stores, but the games are more expensive there.

To get digital games we purchase top-up gift codes for other regional eShops online. I personally use the US region, but Poland is very popular too.

Guessing what would happen if there were official Nintendo representatives, I'd say it still wouldn't be possible to release the game here without removing the options from the game.

Miitopia was released when laws were much less strict. Now "the LGBT movement" is considered extremist, so no mentions of queerness are allowed in any media if it isn't a scientific article.

Have you heard of any other countries where Miitopia had been age-restricted?

@konicstar it's definately not related to Switch 2

In March 2023 Level-5 announced a comeback to global market with five new titles. Decapolice, Fantasy Life, Inazuma Eleven and Megaton Musashi were expected to release in 2023, and Layton in 2023-2024.

1,5 years later they've released only one of them – Megaton Musashi, which is actually just a third repackaging of the same game.

Obviously, they just don't really know how much time the development of a certain title will take. At this point I'll be surprised if none of their 2025-scheduled titles moves back to 2026.

@Alpha008 actually ILCA is now more associated with Bandai Namco than TPC. They were lead developers on the latest Idolmaster game, One Piece Odyssey and Sand Land. They even work on the next Ace Combat entry.

However, the deal here is that ILCA seemingly has the most ex-Alphadream developers than any other studio
