Although 2 is good for the design and music, and 3 was good for the new mechanics, 4 was by far the best because it refined the physics, added the charged up buster shot, and reached a perfect point for gameplay with those elements imo.
Some very decisive opinions. I used to own a few myself. They just seem ship bland. The soulless eyes and expression, and cheap paint quality leave something to be desired by collectors, but you can't deny them their reach. Everyone and their grandma had one...just like with the Wii.
@G0dlike I can't agree more. I was just getting used to Kimishima heading up the company!
@Andrew5678 Interesting. I'm with your 100%. Being from the States, I'm not sure what to think yet (edit: in the sense that I haven't even heard of Furukawa up until now, and that I haven't watched any of the Directs that he was a part of). I'm excited to see what happens, though, and wish him the best in his new position.
I'd like to hear Nintendo Life's opinions on this change further.

The 16-bit era was the Golden Age. We are living in the Iron Age/Industrial Age.

Also their artist forgot to put the black pad paint on the tail in this render.
