@BASEDSAKRI As The Electric Playground put it on his YouTube video about the game, 5 frames of input lag doesn't make this port an "atrocity", nor would you truly see the difference if you've never played a shoot-em-up console port from an arcade original or an earlier port.
Sucks to know that this was the situation Hellena Taylor was placed in, but ultimately, because she broke NDA and explicitly said she's unafraid of doing so, this implies she's willing to burn every bridge she made with PlatinumGames and Nintendo; in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if she left voice acting entirely because of this, knowing she intends to effectively burn all other bridges in the entertainment business (not just video games). Meanwhile, I'd understand if her attack against her replacement was someone new to voice acting or hasn't had the roles to really back up her reputation as a voice actress, but since this is a veteran like Jennifer Hale, this only lowers Hellena's own reputation.
Also, no amount of "boycotting" will truly affect Bayonetta 3 sales on an exclusive platform that has over 111 million systems sold.
I had no doubt LRG was going to pick this up: too bad the "collector's edition" is barebones - I can already tell the "soundtrack" is going to have half of the tracks from the actual Radiant Silvergun Soundtrack+ album.
It was good: with the exception of the abundance of farming/life simulators, this Direct was everything I expected it to be: Tears of the Kingdom's title and release date, obvious Nintendo 64 releases for Switch online, confirmation on the Radiant Silvergun port from prior rumours and knowing that sequels for Rune Factory, Pikmin and Atelier Ryza are under development (with a few surprises like a Fatal Frame IV port and Octopath Traveler 2 actually happening instead of that mobile spin-off garbage, since I'm not the only one who bemoaned thinking Squeenix was killing off Octopath by turning it mobile).
Really, if you were thinking that something monumental was going to be announced (like the next Mario platformer) or some kind of "extended gameplay" trailer for Tears of the Kingdom would be shown in an already stacked 40-minute Direct (minus that pointless Pikmin mobile segue by Miyamoto), you were just asking to be disappointed. Besides, the latter for Tears won't occur until next year before launch; why show more gameplay in a Direct when it can have its own dedicated 20-minute showcase?
I've always maintained that Nintendo purchasing Monolith Soft was one of the unanimously best decisions they've ever made: all these years later, they've become the second-most important developer in the company behind Nintendo EPD.
The Monado, Blades, Core Crystals, Gormotti, High Entia, Nopon, the "corpses" of Titans in the background, what appears to be the Mechonis' sword, what looks like Mechon used by Homs troops....XC3 is getting the best of both XC1 and XC2. Can't wait until September gets here.
Ninty needs to learn an important lesson: their online structure is not at the same level as Microsoft's and Sony's. What they're asking for is non-consumer friendly. Here's hoping they take this lesson to heart when their users aren't upgrading to this rip-off of an "expansion".
As much as I would love to see EA lose the FIFA license, they can't afford to not have it when it's their biggest moneymaker. Either EA pays up or they work on a deal with FIFA that guarantees it'll screw the consumers even more than before.

Re: A New Bayonetta 3 Report Features A Differing Account Of PlatinumGames VA Pay Offer
Reportedly asked for six figures AND residuals? Any developer in the right mind would instantly dismiss this; if true, this is all Hellena's doing.
Re: Review: Persona 5 Royal - Finally On Switch, This Is The Very Definition Of Essential
So it doesn't even go below 30 FPS? Colour me surprised: this sounds like a miracle port.

Re: Square Enix's SNES JRPG 'Live A Live' Is Coming To The West After Almost 30 Years
If there's a physical option, I might pony up. In fact, I'm surprised Squeenix even bothered to remake this.

Re: Metroid Dread Sparks Improved Sales For Past Games In The Series
How likely do you believe Ninty's thinking about doing a "Metroid 1-4 Collection" on the Switch now that this is happening?
Re: Capcom Says It's Unable To Add Cross-Save And Cross-Play To Monster Hunter Rise
"Unable to" or "unwilling to", Capcom?
Re: Wish Your Switch Pro Controller Was A Little Bit Smaller? Check Out The T4 Mini
I'll stick with my Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Edition Pro Controller: it's already very comfortable.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (October 9th)
Second playthrough of Dread on hard mode.
Re: Review: Disco Elysium: The Final Cut - Still An Absolute Triumph On Switch
Will pick this up once that Switch physical copy gets released next year.
Re: Three Kingdom Hearts Games Are Coming To Switch, But They're All Cloud Versions
What a joke: Squeenix doesn't actually want you to own their games physically.
Re: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's Final Fighter Is... Kingdom Hearts' Sora!
You're either pleased with this choice or you're not: there's no middle ground.
Re: Best Nintendo Switch Collections And Compilation Games
No love for the Gunvolt Striker Pack: how disappointing.
