Anyone saying that the games are fine as they are because they haven't encountered any problems themselves (which is not possible) are just being delusional and part of the problem. It seems that everything is always fine with them, figures.
The game was released in a really bad shape (just take a look at DF technical video) and that's the hard truth (like it or not). Not to mention the removal of lots of features that should have been there (but lets all just not talk about that either).
This shouldn't be acceptable (and be happening) to one of the biggest franchises of the world. It is a failure in terms of quality of control of a released product.
Saying that graphics doesn't matter on video games if the gameplay loop is good... it is the same as saying good animation doesn't matter on an animated TV series if the story is good.

Image watching a series like Arcane (or Attack on Titan or Invincible) with bad animation instead of good animation and be fine with it because the story is good. I call that BS...

It doesn't only happen is gaming either. It is also happening in movies/TV series with streaming services (Apple+, Disney+, Netflix, Hulu) getting-producing exclusive content for movies/TV series that you can only watch in their platform. So deal with it. Because this isn't changing no matter how much you whine. What you can hope, but not expect, is them thinking (distant future) in start putting a couple of their games (3-5 years old games) on PC (only), that's all.
All in all, asking corporations to hold hands an sing Kumbaya while releasing all their owned produced and funded projects/content into everything is just moronic (I hope Netflix releases The Queen's Gambit and Squid Game to HBO Max). Wake up! This is not LaLaLand...
Master Chief doesn't fit all, so I'm not sure why is he there... For matter fact, I guarantee you that the Smash fanbase will be pretty disappointed and underwhelm (more that usual) if after all this time that character is the final one.

@GameOtaku P5 and P5R are still exclusive, so stop making things up about not being one. There is no guarantee that that game is coming to Switch at all. It is like me saying SMT V isn't exclusive either because some random person at Sega said that they are "exploring" to port more of Atlus games in the future.
@dani3po You clearly have very limited knowledge about actual animation if you think Sony Animation is bad.... right now, they are the only ones moving the medium forward in terms of big budgeted animated movies is concerned, with critically acclaimed movies like Spider-Man Into The Spider-Verse (2018) and Mitchells vs The Machines (2021). Not only those movie are fresh/innovative in terms of animation and art-style (something the new Mario movie would have benefited from), but they are also great script-wise (story beats). So please spare that whole BS about it being bad...
Also (as right now),
1) DreamWorks and Illumination animation is stagnated (no evolving, same old, same old) and... 2) Pixar and Disney animation keep, for some odd reason, aiming for hyper-realism for most of their productions, for better or worse. Even for their more cartoony movies like Luca...

@NEStalgia the problem isn't Atlus... but some fans delusional expectations regarding these events. They expect way too much, just to end up disappointed. And then... whine about it.
Honestly, instead of wasting staff and resources porting old ass games into other platforms, right now Atlus should be focusing and working on the next Persona entry and, if possible, a brand new IP. That's all I want from them at this point...
