@RenanLK everything you said is so true of the software industry as a whole. I've been an engineer in the industry for over 25 years and have seen more delays than I can count.
Arbitrary deadlines, executives that don't trust engineers, and the morale issues spurred on by scare tactics of lay offs, are the biggest reasons for software delays these days.
The biggest problem that Nintendo has to face right now, in the US, is the effect of tariffs on the total price. Given that they don't want to screw over their audience I think that they will look to bundle in a game (and/or longer free trials to the online service) to make any higher price points feel more reasonable to buyers.
Every locality has legal definitions for what people are claiming is vague here. Square Enix doesn't need to define harassment or stalking or anything listed because the government does this already.
I've taken enough required harassment trainings for every company I've worked for which outlines and explains in detail my local and national laws regarding most things outlined by Square Enix.
