I don't think it will, and I don't think it has to be number one. It has done great as a dedicated gaming device. The PS2 had the benefit of DVD utility in the early 2000s and the NDS was very novel but also much cheaper. The Switch is 3rd best selling gaming system ever, and it has been around for much less time than number 1 and 2.
I will probably bite on the LRG version. I know the risk that it will be rereleased, but I don't have much nostalgia for the 2nd Force Unleashed game. The only thing that could bite me is if they pair this with KOTOR in a double pack rerelease.
I would have preferred Let's Go style visuals. I wouldn't have been disappointed by an HD ORAS type style. I will get over the BDSP style as long as they add good QoL like no HM's (unlikely I know), fairy type, newer moves/move pull, Platinum updates/event areas in game, or newer pokemon/regional variants (Sylveon or G-Rapidash) etc.
I am nervous about cloud streaming on switch. I still prefer companies make a physical or at least a digital version of a game when possible. Otherwise, I'm okay with cloud as the last resort. Aside from that. I know Nintendo will NEVER again make a console that is similar in power to current XBox or PS consoles. That has never benefitted Nintendo, and I won't expect as much as long as they maintain the portable form factor and make adequate power jumps. (Switch more powerful than 360/ps3 then Switch 2 equal or more powerful than PS4/XBoneX). So I'm cool with streaming, just don't make it the normal unless the company actually tries first.
I'm thinking about trading in my normal sword for the complete version, but I also want to wait for a hopeful price drop. My only concern is whether or not this will be limited stocks/scalpers going nuts.
