Hahahaha I almost die laughing with this bunch of comments. Seriously? Do you believe will win this gen?
Back in 2011 Nintendo introduced Wii U as a hardcore videogame console, full of third party support. Since then, they started to appeal for the casual market again, leaving core fans. "That doesn't matter, as long as there's Mario I'll play Wii U". Bullcrap. Nintendo's first parties doesn't even use the Gamepad! That's freaking riddiculous! They charged us with a piece of junk which is barely used on games.
Also the console doesn't even have features: no internal hard drive, no ethernet port, no messaging system, no invites from friends, no chat or parties, no achievements... a piece of crap just like Wii but with better graphics (I mean come on, do you relly believe Wii U is "HD" as Nintendo claim? Even the X360 has better graphics).
Miiverse? You all talk about Miiverse as if it would be the super innovation. Have you been in a forum earlier? That's all about Miiverse, is nothing but a service to say hello and leave. You can't customize your profile, no backgrounds, no nothing: just a gimmicky service.
I'm not a hater, in fact I own a Wii U and I've been a long time Nintendo fan, but honestly there's no way to rescue Wii U unless they manage to understand how the videogame industry is today. Nintendo still believes they are in the 90s. The Wii U is not next-gen, it's not only about the games (which are always recycled), it's not about sells, it's all about gamers. That's why PS4 received positive feedback, because Sony focused on gamers and PS4 attends any need a gamer demands nowadays, something Nintendo has forgotten since 2006.
Wii U sucks and I don't think it will gonna make it. The best thing Nintendo can do is stop it's production before it's too late or they will carry the very same fate of their console.
@tripunktoj 1.- No, Nintendo already confirmed it's only possible to link one 3DS to your NNID and only once. If you commit a mistake by entering a different ID, a new ID will be made for the 3DS and cannot be reversed so be carefully. 2.- It's not confirmed yet, but I don't think that's possible. The balance you have in the Wii U is the very same you'll have on the 3DS so I believe it cannot be reflected except by the very same type of currency (US dollars for example). 3.- That's not possible on Wii U so obviously, it won't be possible on the 3DS I guess.
Nintendo's lack of experience in the online market is destroying their consoles integrity. Let's face it, there's no any kind of "ID" as they suggest, it's just another friend code. Honestly, Nintendo can't win this gen with this type of issues. Wii U is just "plug and play". There's no innovation at all and the online infrastructure is just terrible. Can't believe a 2013 console barely has features introduced back in 2006 by the other two big companies...
This ad is ridiculous. Again, Nintendo appealing for the casual matket instead for the core fans. Also calling Wii U a Wii "upgrade" doesn't help either, all you're trying to do is commit the sames mistakes as with Wii. You'll not attract casuals or non-gamer people with a controller which looks pretty similar to any tablet. Wii was different because anyone could jump into action by swinging the Wiimote, but Wii U is different Nintendo. Let the Wii rest in peace and focus on gamers! If you do that, you'll attract third parties and more people with them.
Wise is goodm but where is Kenji Yamamoto? That man's talent shouldn't be wasted just like that. Still disappointed about Retro's decision. HD for the very first time in Nintendo's history to make ANOTHER DK game.

Writing from my very own Wii U.

Re: Video: Reggie Fils-Aime Posts E3 Welcome Message For Fans
Can someone tell me the correct time for Mexico City (GMT-6)?
Anyway, my body is ready.
Re: Evidence of a Functional 3DS Flashcard Emerges
Hacking consoloes is for miserable people who can't pay for an original game. I hope Nintendo take serious measures about this.
