I'm glad unionization has been popping up in the public conscious lately. American labor practices are beyond atrocious. Greedy enough to make a 1930's cigar-chomping fatcat tycoon blush.
Whether or not anything will actually change beyond the occasional breadcrumb, however...
I liked it enough to finish it, but there was something missing. Maybe the 80 hours (and 10 frames per second) of Rune Factory 5 satiated my farming-sim needs for the year. I'll save my cash for the RF3 remaster.
I'm really not concerned about the Mario movie – it looks like any other movie for kids, which is exactly what it is, and I have no strong obligation to watch it – but I feel they shafted Charles Martinet in the same way Kojima got rid of David Hayter for MGSV. I laughed when Chris Pratt grinned awkwardly into the camera and said "Man I spent HOURS of my life stomping... KOOPAS... [pauses, glances to the side] ...in the original Mario Bros arcade game."
I'm not a Sonic fan by any means (I liked Sonic 2 & 3 well enough, and 3D Blast is lame but I have a nostalgic attachment) so take that as you will, but Frontiers looks like an attempt to copy the open-world aspects of games like Horizon and BotW without giving much thought about how to synthesize the gameplay between Sonic and open worlds. For example the rails, jump pads, etc just randomly pop up in the middle of the world with no visual logic. It's a jarring contrast.
I revisited F-Zero X and it's every bit as entertaining as it was when I first played it on the Wii virtual console in eighth grade. It's a top-fiver imo. Banjo Kazooie over Mario 64 is madness though.

Quaxly haters out for blood today I see. That's fine. History will prove us Quax stans right.

Re: Random: Valve's Steam Deck Can Now Run Game Boy Advance Cartridges
That's neat, but also, y'know, emulation is pretty easy these days...
