@TeddyRoseKidd lol back in September Ultimate hit the record of best selling fighting game of all time surpassing Street Fighter 2.

The comp scene whining is not indicative of everyone who plays. This is still a party game most people play for fun, not that much new people care about playing a 20 year old version of the game with less features just because they can "wave dash" or w/e.

I don't agree with what Nintendo did, but its really mind blowing how the Melee scene thinks everything revolves around them.

@Ryu_Niiyama Melee comp scene is delusional enough to think the whole series will dies because Nintendo won't allow emulated versions of Melee to be played at tournaments.

im fine with my switch and gaming pc, no need for an overpriced console with faulty hardware.

@Aronin how can i not? early Kanto had some of the weirdest episodes, most notably the Saffron Gym one or the infamous Porygon one.

After building my PC, Im officially done with PS and XBOX. Nintendo wins for me with couch co-op and its exclusives.

I've spent maybe 300 hours total of gaming on PS4, which is the same amount of time I spent making levels in Mario Maker 2 lol.

OOT is my favourite game in the series, but I think the 2D games have a better track record with Zelda 2 being the only relatively bad one. MM and WW were too short for me, TP was okay but had its flaws, SS was also okay but had serious pacing issues, and BOTW while good was missing too much of what I like in Zelda(mainly traditional dungeons).

With the 2D games there is Zelda 1, ALTTP, Link's Awakening, the Oracle games, Minish Cap, and A Link Between Worlds. These are some of the best games in the series.

Ideally though I hope they continue both styles of games just like they do with NSMB and the 3D Marios.

@Maulbert thats crazy, whats even crazier is that his show today is around the same age as what Simon's Quest was when he first reviewed it.

I'm going to assume this is most likely going to be another TP or BOTW situation where it launches on both the Switch and next gen system.

@holygeez03 they prematurely revealed it after the backlash from Federation Force, but the positive energy has long run out since its been three years since the last Metroid game.
