Though I'd like to have a physical version of the game, I have to admit that eShop releasing is a better idea since it can reach to someone like me, who does not live in an European country but had an EU 3DS.
I don't know how to explain this feeling but this game may not be good at all because all you can do is riding your horse around and slash any giant you see and then repeat. I won't feel like buying it if there's nothing more.
We are all familiar with Phoenix as an American. However, that does not mean his far ancestor could not be a Japanese ) I'm looking forward to see this Naruhodo guy in trial. You see, even with a good localization efforts spent onto this game, its Japanese origin won't change and you can feel it. So why don't we just let it returns to its Japanese nature?
I don't see anything wrong with Senran Kagura Burst. It's just the people who over reacted when looking at it. Every single day, you watch a lot of movies and music videos and they all have some sexy scenes, sometimes the people in those movie, those music video make love with each other!!! So why do games have to be so fresh like it was made only for 5-year-old children? We have something called "rating" and "parental control" so if children can access adult contents, it is our responsibility and it is we who have problems, not the game itself.
I am against censorship. If any entertainment content is inappropriate, just don't publish it. When publish, just don't censor anything.
@Bliquid I don't think so, because Steel Diver allows full access to online multiplayer features while demo games don't. This game only keep you from the fun of single player mode with limited levels and it is obviously different from the demos we're seeing on eshop.
@HyperSonicEXE I think it is because of Nintendo's core value that it never allow such advertisement. Just think about it carefully, while having banners and ads may ensure the increase in revenue, it will produce more low-quality games because the developers will focus more on how to gain money with ads. Furthermore, with a relatively small screen, the 3DS is actually not a good device for such advertisement and soon enough, ad banners will ruin our experience for sure.
Instead, I suggest placing ads in the actual game's objects. For example, there might be a building in the game with a screen that shows logos or ad units. Of course, this method only works when Nintendo has a contract with certain company before making the game.
Will it come to Australia? So far, there are lots of good games released for N.America and Europe but not Australia, especially games for the eShop. I wish they will release this game worldwide just like Pokemon.
@FiveDigitLP I'm playing this game right now (EU version) and I'm really into it. I can guarantee that its battle system is very easy to get use to and the story is really good (though to be honest, there's a time you have to be very patient). Just buy it and see for yourself
