I really don't know how people can enjoy Amiibo and say it was a patch on Infinity. Amibbo doesn't do anything apart from unlocks a suit for a player or a power up they are good looking figures. I really don't think Amiibo has anything to do with Infinity failing it all came down to the play sets being too short and not a lot to do after in the toy box. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the toy box for a short time but jesus it became so repetitive and just unplayable.
Nintendo have done the right thing just making them figures for kids and collectors to buy in the knowledge they are just figures. they will fail soon just like the others will. 10 years ago band games were big look what happened there the same wil happen here.
