I myself have played all 3D Mario games but the Galaxy series are in my opinion the best.
The controls are smooth, fun level design and it brought quite some fun innovations like the manipulation of gravity. SMG is the better one of the two games in my opinion. SMG delivered more innovations then SMG2, however SMG2 expanded on the level designs and the game was thankfully more challenging then the first.
Although even with these changes i cannot lose the feeling SMG2 is more an expansion of the original.
I have the feeling the NX will be a handheld instead of a console. It is almost five years ago since the 3DS has launched.
If it is a console, the Wii U will be one of the more short-lived consoles from Nintendo. It will have less then a four year lifespan. It just feels too short for a console.
Abit offtopic, I remember the gamecube was released in may 2002 for EU. So it might release in another month then the usual fall releases.However at that time, Europe had a lot of delayed releases for games and a few consoles

I voted for Cranky Kong. His cane would be very usefull for grabs and smash attacks. I can imagine his final smash would be like this: alot of nagging how easy games are today and that games in his prime were the real deal.
