@Lofoten You'll get almost as many answers as people, but not everyone who emulates pirates. Echoes of Wisdom runs much better on my vastly more powerful desktop pc than the Switch. The same can be said for TotK and BotW as well.
If I'm buying a game I should be able to get the best experience possible. That's just not possible on Nintendo hardware. It also feels silly to pay for a game, run that game only on official hardware as intended, and get a significantly diminished experience due to poor performance. Pay more to get less? Why?
"We're trying to force you to play the game the way we want you to, not the way you want to."
Yes, we understand the problem. If I'm doing good in a dungeon, and I'm playing as intended by trying out a bunch of different echoes, I shouldn't have to scroll through 50 echoes to find where the best version of the bed ended up. If I could favorite the bed I'd not have to waste so much time scrolling to figure out where the game stuffed it.
But that's such a terrible thing that would ruin the game, right?
For the most part I only used a few echoes. Bed, boulder, couple monster, and then whatever situational stuff for the specific dungeon. I'd say I maybe used 20 echoes total, unless they were dungeon specific.
Didn't really notice it in either game. But then I had to play on emulator with blur removing mods because the blur causes eye strain to the point of migraines and Nintendo hasn't bothered to see fit to enable simple accessibility settings. Both games run fantastic on a 5600X and a 3060 installed on a gen4 ssd.
