I have an odd glitch that appeared after the 4 v1.5 update for Switch. The label for Machine Gun II has been changed to "!Missing Line!" I also don't have the option to buy back any rare items I sold at Argent's Articles. The recycling bin is there, but I can't interact with it and there's nothing there. Perhaps I missed the directions for this.
@Nick24 I think it is the British localization for that fishing trawler blueprint. You know, the one that shocks fish and scoops them up. I noticed quite a lot of regional differences when it comes to names in this game.
Ain't this fun, guys?!!! To download anything, I have to turn my Switch off and then hold the power button down for one minute, then turn it back on, and I get one download out of it after it restarts. And even then, it might take three or six tries of me hitting retry or cancel download before it works. After that, it goes right back to the endless loop of 2123-1502 errors, and I have to reset again. WOOOO FUN!!!!
Ain't nobody forcing you to enter that dodo code. Ain't nobody forcing you to watch videos of folks showing off their modded islands or dupe glitches. Just stay on your own island and the islands of your like-minded friends. The fact that this game inspires so much nazi-like self-righteousness when it comes to modding and glitching, and wanting to dictate how people play a videogame--a game that is almost entirely single player and takes so much tedious effort just to play with your FRIENDS. Its so surprising that folks care so much that they go online and shame other folks' playstyles.
Barnacles! Just started playing yesterday and I put off getting the codes till now, and as luck would have it, a bunch of them expired today! I hope those rewards come back around at some point.
And how old was the little girl you had play this game and give you their opinion? Or is this just another review by a player who is not part of the target audience? This is what makes it hard to buy video games for children. Even the best gamer websites are full of reviews by 30 year old men who think they can just somehow imagine what they would think of a game if they were a 7 year old girl, like that's the same thing. The best movie reviewers take their kids or a neice or nephew with them to the latest Disney flick. Gamers should hold that standard as well. By the way, my little girl thinks this game is the cutest thing on the entire planet and plays it all the time. I'm so glad I ignored these adult gamer reviews and bought it.
whoa, i'm a bit shocked at the high number of positive reviews. much of the games are too rigid, too short, and too dependant on your ability to write numbers and letters perfectly. ugh, I got so many wrong because it translated my 'c' as an 'o', and whatnot. the game that tells you to draw a certain object is kinda fun, but flawed as well, since your answer depends on your perception. what you see as the most important visual feature of an object might be way different than someone else's idea. anyway, there are so many other puzzle games you could play that sharpen your mind that are much more entertaining than the brain age games.
i'm so glad they're putting effort into the character development. granted, I'm not a fan of the whole cardboard cut-out on wheels character that rolls on and off-screen as needed (like in trauma center or mystery case files for example), as opposed to sprites that move and emote (phoenix wright). but this looks like a pretty good quality game. as always, thanks for the in-depth reviews, guys.
