@everyone that said brawl was perfect or fine the way it was. That just shows that you don't play competitive or look into game mechanics because Brawl was far from perfect, it had many flaws. Here's just a few: infinite chain grabs with ice climbers, chain grabs with Faldo, DDD.... META KNIGHT, and thats just a few of the many flaws. Now that's not to say brawl was a bad game, because it wasn't. It's just it had many unbalances that sakurai decided to ignore, and that's one of the reasons project M was made and became a big success among the smash community

Most people that don't like this mod are just upset casuals that only like 4 player item matches (which are fun). Sorry but many people like myself felt that brawl was a huge let down in the competitive department and didn't deliver in the technical department like melee did, which made this game perfect for anyone wanting that technicality back. This mod is better than brawl itself and I hope sakurai takes notes from this and melee (which he may have after seeing yesterday's direct)

Ahh I remember coming home from school and watching all of those back in the day!!! I grew up with all of that. Sonic will always be one of my favorite gaming/cartoon characters. It sucks he's headed down green hill these days tho.

But GTAV would have got a 10/10 by all those reviewers even tho it has flaws like framerate drops, bad ai and bad physics -_-

@Gioku i think the same thing. The Wii U version looks like Wii graphics and what sucks even more is that the Wii U version is going to have a limited number of chars thanks to the 3ds which imo isn't fair to Wii U owners

@Retro_on_theGo really people are making it a big deal when really its not a big deal at all. The main hype for this game should be that were getting a real Pokemon adventure game in 3D graphics. Would you people rather have 3D open world with less detail and low frame rate or no 3D open world with 60fps and very nice detail ? At least you get your battles in 3D (which imo will look bad and will drop the frame rate)

@Sam_Loser2 you can't really compare 3D with HD. Both serve different purposes. 3D is to add a sense of "depth" like your in the game and HD is ment to clean up on messy looking visuals and low quality visuals making the game look more crisp and nicer. 3D doesn't always make a game look better but HD does which is why HD will stay in this generation but 3D will slowly fade away

3D is horrible anyway, it makes the game look worst imo and I'm glad it's not a focus for this game. There reason is good too id rather put all the 3ds,s power into visuals, frame rate then into unless 3D effect. Visuals, frame rate >>>>>>>>3D effect also I hope they do that for future games too

I think it would have been a cool feature but it won't really be missed

CANNOT wait to get this game!!! This will be the best selling 3ds game hands down and maybe even outsell gtav (which I'm hoping it will cuz me and my friend had a bet lol)

Ehh a little disappointed with the graphics. It just looks like brawl on dolphin emulator, nothing special. Wish they made it way better looking since the Wii U has more power than what there showing

I'm glad this is a REAL HD remake and not a fake one were they just brighten the game and don't re do textures and characters -_-

I seriously hope they fix the clipping issues with some characters and improve the graphics, textures waaaaay more cuz it looks like melee on dolphin emulator and I know the Wii u is much much much more powerful than that -_- but Yesss I like peach!! I hope they keep her D-air and F-air. Those were here best aerial attacks

Yea early buyers don't deserve anything free. Its always a risk to get a console at launch and your fault as well, and since the price drop was only $50 its not like you really lost out. The most you should proly get is a pat on the back for being a early buyer

2DS Is a cash in

@GazPlant it doesn't need to exist Nintendo always did fine with a controller with no screen. N64, GC and Wii. They should ditch it so the price on the Wii u can be even more worth it and they should mainly focus on games. Improving the wii u experience (add account) the online for games, the re playability, multi player, add dlc make new ideas for there top franchises (not re use the same boring stuff like new super boring bros or donkey kong tired of county returns) make the visuals amazing to show that the wii u is a strong console (not that strong but it's good enough ie, HD 1080p 60fps) until that they're going to crumble

Still the 2DS will sell alot since its a very cheap way to play 3ds games and it comes out on the same day as X and Y $$$$ everywhere for Nintendo. Until ps4 and xBone drop ....

@Kirk you can't argue with fanboys lol they will defend anything Nintendo throws out even if it's a bad design like the 2DS they will say it's better than any redesign that you give because that's what fanboys do. But as for your design its not all that bad but it's hard to see which will be better considering the fact that I haven't used the 2DS lol

Yea casual gamers think it's just an ad on to the original Wii. I would have called it Wii 2 or Nintendo HD.anything but Wii U

Coming from a Nintendo fanboy**** I think the Wii U is mainly going to appeal to Nintendo fanboys this holiday were as the ps4 will appeal to all people even non Sony fan boys. I mean yea we have good coming titles but there all rehashes baring sonic. And those aren't going to bring people to the Wii u. If 3d world was switched with something like "super Mario sunshine 2 or galaxy 3". And DKCR tropical freeze switched for a 3d DK game non Wii owners would say "ohh haven't seen those in a while or those at all now I'll get a Wii u" but people are going too look at those coming out and say "wait don't I have this on 3ds or on Wii why do I need a Wii u for this??" which is why its mainly going to appeal to people that own a Wii u

@DarkCoolEdge nah it wasn't a bad port and I must say I enjoyed the 3ds version more..... Same story but no motion cut scenes. it was sonic rush style and it had some levels and bosses the ps3/360 didn't have (mushroom hill which looked amazing/ the boss bio lizard from SA2B) and a few other very enjoyable classic stages / and bosses that I won't say for those planning to buy the game. It also featured online mode which imo made the game very replayable vs the console versions which only had challenge mode which the 3ds version has too so yea they were very different in terms of levels, challanges, bosses music and the fact that the 3ds version has online mode ^_^

Gotta say it's quite interesting but not the smartest move by Nintendo tho.. I gotta use it hands on to determine if it's a better feel than 3ds/XL.

Fot those of you saying oh "buy an extra hard drive its like $50-100" why would any smart consumer do that when that extra $50-100 can go towards a ps4 which is a much better deal then the Wii u. 500gbs and a much stronger system that can do way more. The reason I have yet to buy a Wii u is because of its baby 32gb and lack of any games even the ones coming out this end of the year just arent appealing. All games that we've seen before and I mean in game style.(3d world-3d land etc except Sonic lost world. Its sad where the Wii u is headed too. Nintendo better think of something big if they hope to combat ps4 and X1 this coming holiday

I don't think Wii u will sell much this year even with games like windwaker HD which imo is a lazy remake for a supposed 60 bucks and that 3d Mario which is basically 3d land for Wii u -_- Especially with the new consoles on the rise soon Wii u.s gonna fall hard unless they price cut there system they won't be selling anything in those times. 350 bucks for a 32gb ???? When you can put 50 bucks even 150 (for xbone people) towards better hardware and software graphics. features. games. And 500!!!! GB of memory. People aren't dumb Nintendo. Overall their gonna fail this year because they dont really have anything going for them but as for next year they do have some hope with all those great titles coming out I.e SSBU bayonetta 2 MK8 heck maybe even a metroid but you get the point. Until next year and a price cut Nintendo won't be doing so great
