Oh, sorry about the comment thing. I don't write a lot of comments on this site. I must have made a mistake. My bad. Though, I do not get why you are acting all hostile towards me. Is it because of how I use the word pathetic? You seem kinda offended by it, and effected considering you reused it. If so, sorry. I just taught it would be funny to end it with a sentence like that. I did not think that anyone would get offended by something that unimportant. Again, my bad.
Back to topic, I will not delete my comment, because you said nothing that disproves my statements. Infact, you do not have any counter to any one of my arguments. So, you are just brushing them aside. You are saying that Prime 4 had a bigger audience so it should have sold more, I am saying that Prime selling more than Prime 3 is proof that a bigger audience does not always translate to bigger sales. How is that not related? I am disproving your point. Also, why would I need to save face? You are just saying that the game sold horribly. Your proof is not strong enough for such a claim. If you do not have to save face despite that fact why would I? That does not make sense. I don't understand your comment as well. Why are you insisting upon something that can not be proven currently? You might be right, and you might be wrong. We can not tell. That is the whole point.
I wrote 2 comments to you. Others are not about you dude, and you do not get to decide which comments are nonsense, and which are not. That is just rude.
Lastly, you can stand by every comment you make, or you can chance your mind. No point in telling me. You won't get a medal because you do. It is really not that important. Perhaps, a tea might be nice for you? It always relaxes me. So, I would recommend it.
There are a lot of buts actually, because I do not believe that you are being objective about the whole situation.
First of all a game called Astro Bot released on Playstation 5 which had more than 80 million users at the time. Bananza sold more than it did in a year even though it came out a month later Switch 2. Why? Because a higher console sale number does not mean more interest. I just gave Metroid Prime 1 and 3 example to you. I wish you did not ignore it. It is the sad truth that most of Nintendo's audience are not interested in the Prime series. Regardless of the system.
Secondly, have you ever heard the term loud minority? You know like people who say Nintendo Switch 2 is horrible, and they will not buy anything Nintendo related. It seems like those people are majority, but Switch 2, and it's games are doing just fine, because their numbers are not actually that high. They are just really loud. Metroid Prime 4 reveal, same story. I am sure that 1,000 people who made those reaction videos did buy the game. That does not matter at all.
Until Nintendo says that the game was a failure we can not make any claims about how well it did. It is just not possible. That is simple logic. Not to mention the fact not every game could become a success immediatly. Most games gain a revenue by continuing to sell. Metroid Prime released recently. So, we can not say how well it will do in the long run.
In other words, throwing words like pathetic is quite pathetic.
@Friendly I did. I am not saying that you were wrong about the information you showed. I am saying using Arlo as a source was a mistake. He is far from reliable as a source, and using him can only weaken an argument. Your other sources were great.
@SBandy1 The game came out just a month ago. Wii had a much bigger audience than Gamecube, did Prime 3 sold better than 1? No metroid Prime sold 2 million in a month. We do not even know the budget. We just have baseless rumours.

@TimelessJubilee How do you know what Nintendo was expecting exactly? Did you speak to the president?

@Friendly Arlo? Really? Since when that guy is someone we can rely? His videos lack proper research.
