Too much reliance on cooperation. Yes I understand that's the whole point of the game but when it comes to games there's nothing that ruins a game faster then having to cooperate. Either someone is WAY ahead of the rest or someone is WAY behind the rest or someone is trying to hog the spotlight. It wouldn't be too bad if it was local cause then you could talk to the people your playing with. That would be fun but I don't know two more people who will be getting this game. If I do get it I'll wait for a sale or promotion. I'm just glad there is a single player mode.

Re: Poll: Are You An Early Adopter With The New Nintendo 3DS?

TristanRW

@andrew20 I know that it's backward's compatible but I already have a 3DS so that part of it doesn't intrigue me. More than likely the real successor to the 3DS will also be backward compatible with the "NEW" 3DS games.

I looked up the US release year of all the nintendo portables including the iterations.

Gameboy-1989
7 YEARS til
Gameboy Pocket-1996
2 YEARS til
Gameboy Color-1998
3 YEARS til
Gameboy Advance-2001
2 YEARS til
Gameboy Advance SP-2003
1 YEAR til
Nintendo DS-2004
1 YEAR til
Gameboy Advance Micro-2005
1 YEAR til
Nintendo DS Lite-2006
3 YEARS til
Nintendo DSi/XL-2009
2 YEARS til
Nintendo 3DS-2011
1 YEAR til
Nintendo 3DS XL-2012
1 YEAR til
Nintendo 2DS-2013
2 YEARS til
"NEW" Nintendo 3DS XL-2015

Based on a pattern that I see it seems that in around 3 years Nintendo will release the real successor to the 3DS.

@HyperSonicEXE Im kind of in the same boat as you. I also have other reasons as well such as what ganes will you absolutely NEED the new 3ds to play. So far its just Xenoblade Chronicles 3D whuch to me doesnt merit a $200 purchase. Plus, when's the last time Nintendo released a portable that didnt havr backwards compatibility with their last handheld. Im just gonna skip this release and wait til a real successor gets released.

Re: Nintendo Looking Into "Little Experiences" on Smartphones and Tablets

As far as apps you can download from a market place. I don't think Nintendo will do that. But web based apps I can see just because they're already doing it. For example, bookmark both Nintendo.com and Miiverse.com on your phone then make a link to the websites on your phones homescreen. They both show up just like apps but just link you to the sites.

Re: Analysts Weigh In With Estimates for Wii U Fiscal Year Sales

TristanRW

Why doesn't Nintendo ask people what they want from the Wii U through simple polls on their website? I know companies have their own ideas but come on. The more you get people involved the more they'll know of the existance of the Wii U. People obviously still use their Wiis so regularly send bulletin board messages stating Wii U game releases and a Wii U ad. Hell do what they're doing with the Wii Fit U and offer and in home trial with a game of choice for 30 days. Get the Wii U known through any means necessary.
