Too much reliance on cooperation. Yes I understand that's the whole point of the game but when it comes to games there's nothing that ruins a game faster then having to cooperate. Either someone is WAY ahead of the rest or someone is WAY behind the rest or someone is trying to hog the spotlight. It wouldn't be too bad if it was local cause then you could talk to the people your playing with. That would be fun but I don't know two more people who will be getting this game. If I do get it I'll wait for a sale or promotion. I'm just glad there is a single player mode.
Honestly, and I know this has been said before but I'm gonna say it again. I would buy the "NEW" 3DS if they released SNES and GBA games on the 3DS virtual console.
@earthboundlink According to Wikipedia, Gameboy Advance SP was released on March 23, 2003 and Nintendo DS was released November 21, 2004. Close to two years but not quite. I never owned a Gameboy Micro probably because of the size. Too small for my taste.
@andrew20 I know that it's backward's compatible but I already have a 3DS so that part of it doesn't intrigue me. More than likely the real successor to the 3DS will also be backward compatible with the "NEW" 3DS games.
I looked up the US release year of all the nintendo portables including the iterations.
Gameboy-1989 7 YEARS til Gameboy Pocket-1996 2 YEARS til Gameboy Color-1998 3 YEARS til Gameboy Advance-2001 2 YEARS til Gameboy Advance SP-2003 1 YEAR til Nintendo DS-2004 1 YEAR til Gameboy Advance Micro-2005 1 YEAR til Nintendo DS Lite-2006 3 YEARS til Nintendo DSi/XL-2009 2 YEARS til Nintendo 3DS-2011 1 YEAR til Nintendo 3DS XL-2012 1 YEAR til Nintendo 2DS-2013 2 YEARS til "NEW" Nintendo 3DS XL-2015
Based on a pattern that I see it seems that in around 3 years Nintendo will release the real successor to the 3DS.
I played and own it on the Wii. No need to shell out $40 for the same exact game. I love the game but I don't have a massive amount of dispensable income.
@HyperSonicEXE Im kind of in the same boat as you. I also have other reasons as well such as what ganes will you absolutely NEED the new 3ds to play. So far its just Xenoblade Chronicles 3D whuch to me doesnt merit a $200 purchase. Plus, when's the last time Nintendo released a portable that didnt havr backwards compatibility with their last handheld. Im just gonna skip this release and wait til a real successor gets released.
As far as apps you can download from a market place. I don't think Nintendo will do that. But web based apps I can see just because they're already doing it. For example, bookmark both Nintendo.com and Miiverse.com on your phone then make a link to the websites on your phones homescreen. They both show up just like apps but just link you to the sites.
Also, with people complaining about the price difference from the European version and the U.S. version. Currency rates are not the same in every country. $10 here is not $10 there. It all depends on how the economy is doing.
With it being 16 games in one, $15 is very fair. Honestly why are people complaining about the price? Because the games were made more than 20 years ago? Try finding all the original games in pawn shops and retro stores and I guarantee you'll be paying more than $15.
I'm really looking forward to this Nintendo Direct. Please bring us some release dates Nintendo so we can all start saving up and also announce some new games too. Please more info on X.
Why doesn't Nintendo ask people what they want from the Wii U through simple polls on their website? I know companies have their own ideas but come on. The more you get people involved the more they'll know of the existance of the Wii U. People obviously still use their Wiis so regularly send bulletin board messages stating Wii U game releases and a Wii U ad. Hell do what they're doing with the Wii Fit U and offer and in home trial with a game of choice for 30 days. Get the Wii U known through any means necessary.
This very well might seem like wishful thinking but I think it would be nice if they released a different gamepad in the future that was able to play 3DS games and use your TV as the display. It would basically be 2DS Super XL lol
Getting physical copies of both SM3DW and Link Between Worlds tomorrow. I'm super excited. Although they are coming from UPS so Ill get them around 5. Gonna be hard waiting. Lol

Re: Poll: GameStop Offers A Tempting Switch 2 Trade-In Deal, But Is It Really Worth It?
Nope, keeping my launch day Switch. I still have PLENTY of usage for it via homebrew.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Something that could handle the heat.@Nephestinus

Re: Best of Board Games - Solitaire
That's pretty expensive for a solitaire game when you can buy a deck of cards for VERY cheap.

Re: Nintendo Reiterates Confidence That the Wii U Can Compete
@gatorboi352 Heck I think if they would have called it the Nintendo U it might all least be more distinguishable.
Re: Nintendo Looking Into "Little Experiences" on Smartphones and Tablets
Probably mobile sites for individual games too with bonuses like QR codes.

@CountEkkiM You click follow and follow their posts and ask them to do the same. Thats the only I can think of and its not a bad method either.

Star Fox Adventures was actually a pretty fun game IMO. Not sure why most people dont seem to like it.
