@LinktotheFuture I’ve replied this elsewhere just now, but it’s actually the Fly and Teleport abilities that do this. Go to the pokedex, click the + button when hovering over the pokemon you are looking for, and then talk to the pokemon with Fly or Teleport and they will take you directly to them.
@Metazoxan This may be insufficient for some folks, but I usually keep a pokemon with the Fly (or Teleport, though fliers are usually better at keeping up with you) ability with me. You can then select a pokemon in the pokedex and as long as they are in the same hub area you can talk to the Fly pokemon and they will take you to them.
My actual only complaint with this game is how storage is handled. The game is too big not to have some sort of centralized storage system. I don’t like having to track back through all of the hub areas trying to remember where I dumped a stack of items.
