Is there any way to buy Phoenix Wright Dual Destinies if your NNID age is under 17? I really want to buy it once it's on sale but I'm 16, and was wondering if there was a parental lock or something so I can buy it, since as it is I'm not even able to look at it on the eshop. I really wish there were a physical version...

This is somewhat curious, although not entirely surprising given the downward decline in quality of rewards over the past years. Honestly, it makes sense that as there are more Club Nintendo users it becomes harder to come up with rewards that are economically feasible to produce and distribute to everyone, which is why physical rewards have been in such a limited quantity as of late.
That said, I'm getting Game of Wario but would have been very disappointed if I owned all of these games. Seriously, I'm going to be more wary about buying games in the future if there's the chance they might show up on Club Nintendo for free.

Nice to see them using all of the 3DS's features! I probably won't be picking this one up this holiday, but I might pick it up down the road as Mario Party DS was one of my favourite DS games!

Preordered from TRU because they had a BOGO 40% sale. Ended up paying about $65 for both versions. I'll keep Y and give X to my sister, but u have to wait a week to get them in the mail. Oh well, still worth it.

GameStop sent me an email today saying they cancelled my order, I'm sort of pissed. I preordered on the day it was announced and they just never shipped it. Oh well, I'll use the money I'll save getting the normal version on Pokemon X/Y...

I think I'll get Trine 2 and Runner, being a new Wii U owner and missing the previous sales for them. Both for less than the price of Trine 2 is a steal, and I have a five dollar credit from the Deluxe Promotion!

Couldn't you just scan the figure while it's still in the package to see what it is and return it if you own it already? I know Skylanders were scannable from within the package, so unless the GamePad NFC reader is really weak or the packaging for the figures is thick, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to see what they are. Either way, I'm not buying this game, because I'm tired of the Rumble franchise, and the figures look cheap and polygonish.
Also, it should be noted that figures aren't REQUIRED to play, so people shouldn't be complaining in the same vein as the Disney Infinity power ups.

Usually in the US the Zelda box art is some simple artwork of Link superimposed against a solid color background, so I could see the same happening for this. Just compare the US and Japan box arts for OoT3D and SS!

Say what you want about Activision and their business practices, but they're helping out Nintendo when few major developers are, so they can't be all bad.

@Pikminsi Thanks. I found it for $12.99 at Best Buy used when you ship to a store, so I'll go for it! Used copies start at $40 on amazon and eBay and stuff. Yeesh! But I think for the price, you can't go wrong. Looking forward to it, and will hopefully buy Pikmin 3 once I finish 1 and 2!

Nice feature! I've only played the Pikmin 2 rerelease for the Wii, and I'm trying to hunt down the New Play Control version of Pikmin 1 before I get to Pikmin 3. It's somewhat difficult to find now. Does anybody think I'd find Pikmin 1... limited having played it after Pikmin 2? From what I know, you don't find treasure, there's a time limit, and only three types of Pikmin. I like the exploration aspect of Pikmin 2, so would Pikmin 1 bother me?

I'd have to wait to see a price and the contents of the Wii U bundle before I'm disappointed with the ZombiU bundle I got last week. Even still, I can't complain seeing as that bundle was a good value and I wanted everything in it. I could see a similar bundle for Wind Waker being done, with a physical copy of WW, maybe a gold Pro Controller, Nintendo Land digital copy, and possibly a special design on the console.

Just got my Wii U yesterday, I know what I'll be downloading first!

Those books are beautiful, and the price isn't even that bad considering most of these guides are no longer sold. I managed to sell my OOT 3D guide (normal edition) for $40.

I think I'll go for the cd, it'll go quite nicely with the OOT 3D one they released back in 2011 for registering OOT 3D!

I think if they had made this a timed exclusive, even for three months, everyone would be a lot happier. Ah well.

Well, recently, yes. I've managed to be excited for the Wii and every handheld (even somewhat excited for the XL DS's), but not the Wii U. I mean, it's certainly really innovative, and I've demoed one at a Best Buy, but I'm just not excited...

It's not that I don't think the Wii U looks amazing, but Nintendo ultimately failed to entice me as a consumer. There's no killer app that could possibly justify my buying the Wii U on launch day. There are better games than the 3DS launch, but everything just seems kind of... lacklustre to me with the exception of ZombiU. Nintendo couldn't even get me excited with their own first party titles. That being said, I'm sure the Wii U will be great, but Nintendo's failure to get me to want to buy it as soon as possible has ensured it will be at least a year until I buy one. I wanted to be excited for this, but I'm not.

I thankfully heard about this when I got stuck in the PEC room and looked up what to do online. All of the results were about this save bug, and they saved me from having my game corrupted. I think this is the one time where cheating and looking up what to do online would have paid off, as I would have probably saved in that room.

I rather like the title! Much better than Jump Out in my opinion. However... I wish the subtitle was a bit more prominent in the logo.

Man, my high school did a lame Nickelodeon themed homecoming...

I preordered it on the one day it was previously available! But I wish they would have let you choose the color. Still, awesome preorder bonus, I wish other companies would take note of this.

Thanks Nintendo for not pulling a PS Vita on o=us and making us pay 100 dollars for some 32 gigabytes of proprietary memory that's useless outside of the system!

I don't think it's a typo, I just think that it used European dates. They put the day before the month. For example, today, August 25 would be written 25/8. Nano Assault did the same thing.

Still better than Mario's anniversary.

New Super Mario Bros 2 and The Last Story for me.

Sigh~ At least my subscription will be entirely used up, expires December 2012.

If I live close to a Gamestop that has it, I'll get it. I caught em all and stopped caring about Pokemon about a year ago, but I still need the event legendaries for Black/White...

I scrapped up 900 coins for this and now I am fresh out! The lowered values on some of the games took a toll on the amount of coins I'd have otherwise. Here's to a bountiful harvest of more games soon and thus more coins!

I like it. Very similar to the Gamecube. Not a huge fan of the color scheme, but they could have done worse.

I'm not buying Giants so I can avoid that hit to the wallet. Collecting every original Skylander was a fun experience, but it's a one time thing. It doesn't really look like there's really much different here from the original gameplay wise. I still might buy a few figures that look nice just to put on my shelf though.

I don't have any more room for posters... so the cards, I guess. But I'm disappointed, the past three rewards looked nice on display on my dresser... the posters look nice, but I already have all 4 of the other poster sets...

It's nice to see they can put price drops on third party software. I bought VVVVVV the day it hit America, but hopefully more people will download it now and experience its greatness. For me, I'll get Bomb Monkey and possibly Marvel Pinball. A very good week, well done NoA.

The Wii U launch window is striking me as similar to the Wii launch window in terms if first party stuff...

We already knew about all of this stuff... and did any of us care about Lego Batman or Rabbids Rumble? Disappointing, almost a worse E3 than 2008 IMO.
